202ac Farm Land in BIg Pool, MD (Washington Co)
Locked in another lease in the Washington Co area in MD, which has been a great area for our hunters over the last few years. This one is literally right off of RT40 in Big Pool MD.
Access to the property is going to be right off of RT40 for both the northern section as well as the southern section. From there, you can access the rest of the propety via ATV or by foot. Just keep to the existing trails and limit the use to bringing in/out game and equipment. A number of creeks traverse the southern portion of this lease as well as surround the nothern portion of the lease as the main water sources. The existing AG fields on and surrounding the property are the primary food sources. Yes, you can put in a food plot if you want. But we will need the exact detials approved by the landowners first. As stated, this is in an area that we have had a lot of success with in past years. Don't see this lease being any different.
The owner has asked that we allow a friend of the family to hunt on the land. She has been on the property for a while, and he doesn't want to pull that from her. One additional hunter on 200+ acres shouldn't be that big of an issue, and we will make sure the group who picks this up gets the hunters contact info, too. Other than that, there are no further restricotns except for DNR regulations.
The cost of the lease is going to be $5,200/yr and this does include a hunters insurance policy from Outdoor Underwrtiers. A 50% non-refundable deposit lock this in with the balance due 30 days after the deposit is paid. Just use the discount code DEPOSIT when checking out for this option. And the hunters who pick up this lease will have first right of refusal to renew it for future seasons.
