FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here's a list of common questions about CABH and how we operate.  If you have a question about a particular lease, please contact the field rep listed in the details.  If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact us.  More than happy to answer them.

Q:  ARE CABH LEASES ARCHERY ONLY LEASES?
A:  No.  Unless noted in the lease details, there are no weapons restrictions other than state & local hunting laws.  This also applies to harvest restrictions.

Q:  WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF CABH LEASES?
A:  All of our leases are annually based and follow the hunting calendar from July to June.

Q:  DO HUNTERS HAVE THE ABILITY TO RENEW LEASES EACH YEAR?
A:  Yes.  All of our hunters have first right of refusal to renew their leases each year.

Q:  ARE CABH LEASES EXCLUSIVE TO THE HUNTERS LEASING THEM?
A:  Unless otherwise stated in the lease details, all of our leases are exclusive to the hunters picking up the lease.  And they are exclusive to only the hunters listed on the lease.  We have a "0 Guest" policy on all of our leases.  The only exception of this rule are mentored youth.

Q:  HOW MANY HUNTERS DO WE ALLOW ON OUR LEASES?
A:  Unless there is a headcount cap imposed by the landowners, our rule of thumb is no tighter than a 1:20 of hunters per acre.  Of course you can have less than this on your lease if you want.  But if you need more hunters than this on your lease, just let us know so we can get the approval from the landowners first.

Q:  IF WE HAVE ANY ISSUES REGARDING THE LEASE WHO DO WE CONTACT?
A:  We always want our hunters to contact their listed field rep first.  Our job is not only to get leases filled but to manage them for our landowners and to make sure our hunters are taken care of.  So if there are ANY issues or concerns that need to be addressed, please bring them to us.  If we need to get the landowners involved, we will.  Additionally, we will proactively reach out to all of our hunters once a month during the season just to check in to make sure all is going well.

Q:  WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES CABH TAKE?
A:  We take cash, check, EFT, credit card and PayPal payments.  Please note that credit card and PayPal payments will receive an additional 4% processing fee added to the invoices.

Q:  WHEN ARE PAYMENTS DUE?
A:  To lock in a new lease a 50% deposit is required and this is done on our website.  Once that is received, we will eMail an invoice for the balance that will be due per the lease details.  For lease renewals, deposits are due by the end of February and balances are due by the end of April.  We will start reaching out to our hunters in December during our monthly check in to see what their renewal intentions are.  Please note that deposits are considered a form of payment and thusly are not refundable.

Q:  WHAT IS THE VIP PROGRAM?
A:  This program was created to help make the process a bit more efficient for hunters to lock in new leases.  It is not needed to lock in a lease with us, but does provide advantages to do so.  People who have a VIP subscription on their accounts will have access to all new leases for the first five days that they are available under the VIP Properties section of our website.  After five days, leases will be available under the (state) Properties sections....if they are still available.  Along with the five day access, VIP subscription holders will have the deposit requirement reduced from 50% of the lease cost to only 25% and they will have access to various discount codes from vendors we are partnered with.

Q:  CAN WE WALK A LEASE BEFORE PUTTING DOWN A DEPOSIT ON IT?
A:  Most definitely.  We want to make sure you're getting the lease that you want.  Just contact the field rep listed in the lease details to arrange this.  Please note that we do not hold leases and deposits are non-refundable.
